Group Training were offered at the Animal Resource Foundation in Chester, MD from 2013 until the facility’s closure in 2018. We wish the best to our friends at the Animal Resource Foundation and to the Kent Island community. Check back for information about future class locations and offerings.

Puppy Manners

6 weekly sessions
This class covers basic doggy manners, with an emphasis on puppy concerns, including housetraining, chewing, and jumping. Class includes puppy socialization.
For puppies and young dogs up to 1 year of age.
*Puppies must have had one round of vaccines at least 7 days before attending their first class.
Basic Manners

For dogs six months and over. This class will cover basic doggy manners, as well as topics of concern raised by class members.
Intermediate Manners

6 weekly sessions
For dogs of all ages that have completed Basic Manners, Puppy Manners, or equivalent. This class will cover intermediate training skills, such as self-control and working with distractions. This class is an appropriate next step for those working towards AKC Canine Good Citizen certification, therapy dog work, or who would just like to continue their training. This class is also intended for those who have completed Intermediate Manners, but would like to continue their work towards one of these certifications. The difficulty of the exercises will be adjusted based on the skill of the dog/handler team.

Large Dog Play
